Transition Guide Your guide to the update

After accepting the user agreement and authorizing the transfer of funds, your BlueVine Business Checking account will transfer to Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC on September 1, 2021.

Section 1 What changes can I expect?

  • Balance transfer

    As part of agreeing to this transition, and to ensure uninterrupted access to your funds, you will be asked to direct and authorize The Bancorp Bank to do the following:

    • Transfer your account funds to your new banking account at Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC on September 1, 2021 and your account at The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC will be closed.
    • Transfer to Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC any funds received by ACH between September 1, 2021 and September 14, 2021. The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC will not accept any ACH funds to your account at The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC after September 14, 2021.1
    • Share information with Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC regarding your account at The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC necessary to facilitate the transition of your banking services to Coastal Community Bank.
  • Routing number

    • We have consolidated to one routing number for ACH, wires, and checkbooks. This change will simplify the funding and payments process for our customers.
    • What can I do to prepare?
      • Notify your customers, vendors and any partners who directly deposit into your account that your routing number is changing on September 1, 2021.
      • Continue using the old routing number until August 31, 2021. After this date, update any services, such as payroll providers, accounting software, and incoming payments, with new routing number information.
  • Debit Card

    • You will receive a new debit card with the same card number.
    • Your new card will have an updated expiration date and a new security code.
    • What can I do to prepare?
      • Verify/update your mailing address via your dashboard to ensure we mail the card to the correct location.
      • Activate your new Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC card as soon as it arrives and destroy your old card issued by The Bancorp Bank; after 90 days it will no longer be usable.
      • Update any recurring charges with new card information.
  • Checkbook

    • If you previously requested checks, we’ll send you a new check book which includes the new routing number.
    • Once you fund your account you can order checks anytime via your BlueVine dashboard.
    • What can I do to prepare?
      • Verify/update your mailing address via your dashboard so we can ship the replacement checkbook to the correct location.
      • You may use your new checks on or after September 1st. We’ll also notify you when your checkbook ships.
      • Checks with the old routing number received for processing after August 31st will be returned. Please use another form of payment as soon as possible.

    • Fees No monthly or hidden fees
    • Interest 1% interest on balances up to and including $100,0002
    • FDIC Your BlueVine accounts will continue to be FDIC insured up to $250,000, through our partner banks

  • Your Account Details

    • Sign-in information You can continue using the same email and password combination to sign in to BlueVine
    • Online and mobile banking Your account will look the same, and you can still use the mobile app to deposit checks on the go
  • Debit Card

    Your debit card will have the same great features and benefits.
